Congratulations to The Limerick Tumbler at Leipzig Show 2012

On Behalf of the INFPA and all our Members we wish to send our congratulations to the Limerick Tumbler Club and especially John Fitzgerald and Kevin Kelly on becoming the Very first Irish Breeders to be awarded European Champion Cert’s at the 27th EE European Show in Leipzig Germany. It is a huge achievement to win European Champion with any breed but to do the double with an Irish breed really is Fantastic for the Irish Fancy.

When speaking with John and Kevin in Germany I don’t think this achievement had really sunken in and they did have to face a 2 day drive back to Ireland, but once home and the birds safely back in the Lofts I am sure they are feeling very proud and what a great way to finish 2012. The support the INFPA Members gave towards this show was great and thank you all for your hard work with the Irish Stand and representing the INFPA.

This allows the INFPA to promote our Association and Irish breeds of Pigeons along with the rest of Europe. It is an honour for the INFPA to be granted this membership status.
